Training Policies

Disclaimer:

• Hillary Straus, LMHC maintains responsibility for this program and its contents. NO CREDIT WILL BE GIVEN FOR PARTIAL ATTENDANCE of any particular class (i.e., you must attend the full class on any given date. If you leave early, for example, you will not receive credit).
• Hillary Straus, LMHC., reserves the right to make changes to the class/training schedule, speakers and presentation, if this becomes necessary.

Event Cancellation:

• Hillary Straus, LMHC reserves the right to cancel a training/event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable.
• If Hillary Straus, LMHC cancels a training/event, registrants will be offered a full refund.
• Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of a training/event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.
• In the unlikely event of a training/event cancellation, Hillary Straus, LMHC is only responsible for a refund of the fee paid for the training.

Inclement Weather or Other Events Beyond Our Control:

• In the event of cancellation due to weather or any other event that is beyond our control, Hillary Straus, LMHC will provide a credit for registrations which may be used within twelve (12) months for a future training.

Registration Cancellation by Participant

• Requests for refunds, for all non-HBLU Module 1, must be made in writing by e-mail to Hillary Straus.  Requests must be made at least 30 days prior to the training/event to receive a refund. There is a $50.00 administrative fee for refunds. There are no price breaks or refunds for partial attendance and partial attendance is strongly discouraged because it disrupts the learning environment for the rest of the class.
• Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund and registration can be transferred to attend a future training.
• Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend a training/event.
• All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder.
• Refund requests must include the name of the attendee and/or transaction number.
• Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment for the course fee only, minus the $50 administrative fee.  No other costs will be refunded.

Cancellation by Participant – HBLU Modul1 Training:

• No refunds are offered for HBLU Module 1 training as the course materials are delivered electronically directly to you upon payment.  There are no price breaks or refunds for partial attendance and partial attendance is strongly discouraged because it disrupts the learning environment for the rest of the class.
• Cancellations will not be eligible for a refund and registration can be transferred to a future class.
• Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend a training/event.
